I'm so glad you're here! My name is Jennifer, and I'm the designer, writer, calligrapher, quote collector, and Blackwing pencil devotee behind Six-Penny Stamp.

Everything you'll find here is anchored in a love for beautiful words, vintage art, letter writing, handwritten calligraphy, and storytelling. 

This summer, I started a monthly mail club (The Prose & Post Society) as a way to share my love of these and to send something beautiful out in to the world. 

And the name, Six-Penny Stamp? Well, that comes from the price of a postage stamp in 1968, the year I was born.

I'm based in Summerville, South Carolina, just north of Charleston.
