Such a great, fun piece of mail to receive! All the touches are superb, the hand-written name was such a divine touch. There's something special about seeing your name in old fashioned writing. Speaking of writing, the writing in the note is superb and the nostalgia for the J. Peterman catalog is *real*. The Prose & Post Society is such a thoughtful and beautifully presented subscription. You can tell a great deal of care goes into each mailing, from the letter itself to the vintage-inspired paper pieces, illustrations, and little literary details tucked inside.
I especially appreciate the nostalgic feel of it all. It has that wonderful old-fashioned quality of sitting down with something tangible, reading slowly, and enjoying the small details. The contents of the letter are produced to a very high standard... Personally, I find the drawings a bit too dark, though ultimately that does suit the era.
I grew up receiving a weekly from my grandma updating me on all things family and friends. Now that she's passed, I look forward every month to receive the Prose & Post Society monthly mailing. Along with a sprig of memories from a time from childhood, it brings a piece of nostalgia with every letter. Plus, the stickers, cards and memorabilia are a special treat!

I love this most recent one. I'd love to see my name in your beautiful script. And I literally cried a little over the library catalog card. I used to work in the public library and I met my husband there. He passed away 11 years ago, but seeing that card brought back those happy days
