Returns & Refunds
We hope you love what you ordered. If something arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, we’ll make it right.
What’s returnable
For non-subscription physical items (e.g., journals, prints, mugs, totes), we accept returns only for defective, damaged, or incorrectly fulfilled items within 30 days of delivery.
To be eligible, the item must be in the same condition you received it (unused, with tags, in original packaging), and you’ll need your order number or proof of purchase.

How to start a return (defective/damaged items only)
Email support@sixpennystamp.com within 30 days of delivery and include:

A brief description of the issue

Clear photos of the item and packaging (including any damage)
If approved, we’ll send you a prepaid return label and instructions. Items sent back without prior approval can’t be accepted.

Exchanges
We don’t offer exchanges. If a return is approved, we’ll process a refund; you may place a new order for the desired item.
International orders (subscription mailings)
We currently ship internationally only for The Prose & Post Society subscription. Subscriptions are final sale and not returnable. International shipments may be subject to customs duties, taxes, or delays; these are the recipient’s responsibility. If your subscription mailing arrives damaged, please email support@sixpennystamp.com with photos so we can help.
EU 14-day cooling-off (when applicable)
If eligible merchandise is shipped into the European Union (non-subscription items only), you may cancel or return within 14 days for any reason. Items must be unused, with tags and original packaging, and accompanied by proof of purchase. (Subscriptions are excluded.)
Refunds
We’ll notify you once your return is received and inspected. If approved, a refund will be issued to your original payment method within 10 business days. Your bank or card issuer may take additional time to post the credit. If it has been more than 15 business days since approval, please contact jennifer@sixpennystamp.com.
