 The Lady Stirling story 

The name Lady Stirling comes from my own family lore, where a connection to Lord Stirling (William Alexander) and his service as a major general during the Revolutionary War came up from time to time at family gatherings. But what about Lady Stirling, I wondered. What are her stories, her triumphs? I know some of them, and while I'm tracing the family lineage back to the two of them, I hope to learn much more.

When I began looking for a name for a line of ribbon devoted to beautiful words, old books and thoughtful details, Lady Stirling Ribbon Co. felt like exactly the right name as the story continues to unspool.
