The Backlist: March 2026

A previous edition of The Prose & Post Society, originally mailed to members in March 2026.

If you’ve missed earlier months and hope to complete your collection, you can now order previous editions from The Backlist.

Each edition includes two original art prints pairing vintage artwork with literary quotes, a letter from me with your name written by hand in calligraphy, and thoughtfully chosen extras created especially for that month’s theme.

A mail club created for readers and curious souls.

Quotes in This Edition

“It was not so very far from Siena, which she had learnt at school. Past it there wandered a thin black line, notched at intervals like a saw, and she knew that this was a railway.”
— E. M. Forster

“Here is the view: One railway track and a line of staggering telegraph poles ending in a dot and a blur on the horizon. To the left and right, a sweep as it were of the sea, one huge plain of corn land waiting for the spring, dotted at rare intervals with wooden farmhouses...”
— Rudyard Kipling
